Be A Giver!

Acts 3: 2 to 6

There, at the Temple gate called Beautiful Gate, was a man who had been crippled all his life. Every day he was carried to this gate to beg for money from the people going into the Temple. The man saw Peter and John going into the Temple and asked them for money. Peter and John looked straight at him and said, “Look at us!” The man looked at them, thinking they were going to give him some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold, but I do have something else I can give you. By the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, stand up and walk!”

Man in his fallen state very comfortable from the birth at this Beautiful Gate (The world). Life at this gate called “Beautiful” is all about getting the silver and gold for livelihood or sustainability. He begs for these unsatisfactory perishable alms and eventually perishes along with that.

When he rises up in the name of Jesus Christ – The Saviour and walks with the power of the Holy Spirit, then he transforms from a Beggar to a Giver and enters the heavenly temple.

Thank you, Father, for rising me up,

Thank you Holy Spirit for being with me on this journey,

Thank you for helping me to pass through this Beautiful Gate.
