I was asked to be inside
they said it is to be alive
For me, it is to find the life
I lost outside, long before
In the quest to find that life
I kept moving deep inside
till I reached an abandoned room
with ignorance, it was kept locked
my curiosity knocked on the door
with a painful squeak, it was opened
dusty shelves and dusty floor
saw nothing but, the emptiness of unbelief all over
Searched every nook and corner
found nothing except a lot of nothingness
startled by the sudden sound at the doorway
terrified I bowed my face to the ground
Oh, it was straight to me and it was from Him!
“Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?”
He is not here; He has risen
His grace opened the door for you
Dust & clean yourself now
fill in with hope and faith
your new life is His
Be blessed and fruitful again!”
In our Scripture passage, we find the women looking for Jesus after he was crucified and buried. The Angels asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He has risen from the dead!”
Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, just as he promised. His words were evidence of the power he possessed.
That same power is at work in our lives today. He is able to resurrect the areas in our lives that seem fruitless, those areas that seem empty and barren. That same power is able to help us move forward from dead situations and relationships into a healthy place — a place of fruitfulness.
Happy Easter to all! Stay Blessed.
